About This Course
What Is The Course About?
The Clinical Histories course provides an in-depth overview of how to structure a clinical history, common mistakes and tips on how to self assess your clinical histories. We break down the different presenting complaints and key differential diagnosis. Our small group coaching also gives the opportunity to receive direct advice to individual candidates on the areas to improve and how to make those improvements.
Who Is The Course For?
The course has been designed by UK-based Doctor’s . The purpose of the course is for development of history taking skills for Doctor’s and senior Medical students.
How Is The Course Structured
We start with the key skills required to take a good clinical history with a focus on how to identify which skills are your strongest and weakest. We then focus on key methods to improve those skills and how to self assess your progress.
After getting to grips with these key areas we move on to common histories and the common mistakes made by Doctors when taking these histories. We also discuss real life scenarios with group reflection and feedback. We utilize interactivity throughout the course to maximise learning.
The course format includes sections with small group teaching in the form of breakout rooms, gamification components to improve interactivity and opportunities to ask questions and gain direct feedback from presenters throughout the course.
At the end of the course, all candidates will be given the opportunities to ask questions and seek feedback.

Small Group Sizes
We believe that our courses should be interactive, which is why we have a small group approach to our teaching so that if you have a question, the lecturer can answer.
In addition to limiting the group sizes for the course, we also have sections for separate “breakout rooms” in which candidates will split into even smaller rooms.

Sometimes commitments can clash with course dates. or make travelling to course venues difficult.
